MeetIC - Summary

MeetIC is a huge online dating service with its main operations in Europe and the United Kingdom in particular.  They offer true multi-lingual services - which is fairly rare in the online dating space and also provide members access to message boards, allow geographic regional searches, and the standard fare of photo and messaging.

While there is no doubt that MeetIC is one of the largest online dating services, our research has noted that size is one of the least important factors in selecting a successful singles service.  The Meet IC program does a capable job, but their size and lack of focus seemed more of a distraction during our reviews. 

There was virtually no information on their website profiling their capabilities, features, or value that MeetIC provides that would make them worthy of your consideration.  Other than their international reach - this is still a phase I dating service which mainly offers photo and profile searching and little else.

Editors Recommendation / Opinion

The MeetIC website offered the absolute minimum amount of information we've ever seen of an online dating site.  Its a surprise a company offering as complex a service as online dating would be so poor at communicating their services and features, costs, or how they work.  Usability in our test profiles were a definite problem.

The lack of features or any of the core compatibility engines we require of singles sites to help you improve your chances for finding a match make MeetIC fall far short of our recommendation.  We recommend you consider other alternatives - including our Dating Service Comparison chart.
